Commercial Journeyman Drywall TAPER/FINISHER Position Reports To: Operations Manager FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt (OT Eligible) Directly Supervises: N/A Work Classification: Regular Full-Time Days/Hours: M-F and as Required Group Classification: Field to Meet Project Deadlines Purpose of Position: Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects, specifically a journeyman-level Taper/ Drywall Finisher. Primary Position Responsibilities and Duties: Good communication skills - T. This is a construction opportunity with Tepcon Construction in Tempe, Maricopa County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
