About this role
HVAC Technician We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician who will be responsible for pulling wire, running conduit, and wiring outlets. You will also be expected to read and work off blueprints, install wire harnesses, switches, and light fixtures on walls that will form the base of hospital rooms. This role involves working with non-live wires and ensuring all installations are completed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Pul. This is a HVAC opportunity with Aerotek in Bessemer, Jefferson County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.
What you'll do
- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
