HVAC Project Engineer
About this role
JS3 is looking for a technically minded, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Mechanical Project Development & Project Manager . This position is ideal for someone with a background in mechanical engineering, mechanical systems, HVAC, construction, or a related technical field who wants to develop their career in commercial mechanical systems and project management. You do not need to be a fully experienced mechanical engineer or project manager to. This is a HVAC opportunity with JS3 Mechanical in Portland, Multnomah County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.
What you'll do
- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
