About this role
Must have a drivers license. Must be able to perform the duties listed below: Residential Change outs - Must possess knowledge to perform a complete residential HVAC Split system and package unit change out. - run copper line sets - braze copper joints - install and level concrete pads - instal run new thermostat wire - install and program thermostats - build new Air Handler platforms out of lumber - install repair/replace existing duct work Residential New Const. This is a HVAC opportunity with Sunstate Mechanical Contractors Inc in Tampa, Hillsborough County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.
What you'll do
- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
