Roles & Responsibilities A Heat Treat Technician Helper performs heat treating per specifications outlined on work order, i.e., pre-heat, post-heat stress relieve, normalize, temper or anneal For this position, day-to-day responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:• Operate all furnaces • Keep accurate records and furnace charts• Perform hardness testing to verify compliance to work order requirement• Organize “heat treat lots” of material based on time & temperature requirements Des. This is a general labor opportunity with Western Forge & Flange in Cleveland, Liberty County. General labor and helper work across trades and job sites. Laborers support skilled crews, move materials, and handle a variety of hands-on tasks to keep projects moving.
