General Maintenance Technician
About this role
This position entails performing regular maintenance technicians’ duties and supervisory roles of assigned jobs. Duties include performing work involving the skills of two or more trades to maintain building and common areas components and structures. Duties may involve carpentry, concrete, light electrical, light plumbing, painting, drywall, etc. You could directly supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians, ordering materials and outlining job responsibilities. This is a electrical opportunity with ProTec Building Services in San Marcos, San Diego County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
