Work that calls for accurate measurements, careful fitting, and a clean finished product. You will build pieces used in schools, fabrication experience is a plus; we can train an experienced carpenter on our specific materials and methods. Shift Hours are Monday. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Stevens Industries in Martinsville, IL. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
