Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Field Service) Baltimore, Maryland Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join a growing demolition and heavy construction organization based in the Baltimore area. This position is primarily a mobile field service role responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing a diverse fleet of heavy equipment operating on active demolition and construction sites throughout Maryland, Northern. This is a construction opportunity with Rockstar Mechanics in Baltimore, Baltimore County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
