Facility Maintenance Engineer Handyman
About this role
New Franklin Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing - The candidate will work in the Engineering department to provide basic maintenance to our Nursing Home. You will inspect equipment and perform basic repairs or preventative maintenance. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance in health care or residental facilities, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read repair manuals. Job Responsibilities: 1. Follows equipment maintenance. This is a events and setup opportunity with New Franklin Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Flushing, Queens. Event setup, teardown, and staging. Crews assemble stages, seating, and equipment, then break down and reset venues quickly between events.

- Set up and tear down staging and seating
- Move and stage equipment and furniture
- Follow event layouts and timelines
- Assist with load-in and load-out
- Keep the venue clean and safe
