About this role
General The Facilities Technician HVAC position is under the supervision of the Executive Director of Facilities Operations. The employee performs general and routine tasks associated with the technical maintenance, physical condition and inspection and repair of the college’s equipment and facilities. Duties Participate in the general maintenance of the college facilities. Continuously inspect facilities to ensure campuses are provided with a well-maintained environment conduci. This is a HVAC opportunity with Randolph Community College in Asheboro, Randolph County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.

- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
