Facilities Technician - HVAC
About this role
Plan to convert to an FTE after 3 month period. Location: Wilmington, MA main location but may need to go to Boston or Cambridge Work Shift: Option 1: Monday-Thursday with off days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday Option 2: Tuesday to Friday with off days Saturday, Sunday and Monday On-call for a week at a time, 5-6 week rotation. Need to be able to pass INA (animal social media check) and will need to fill out 4 forms once identified. service a campus of 5 buildings. This is a HVAC opportunity with blueStone Solutions Group in Wilmington, Los Angeles County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.
What you'll do
- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
