About this role
FLSA: Non-exempt Hours: The regular work hours are from 8:00am to 5:00 pm, five days a week (Monday through Friday). Night and weekend work may be required in the event of maintenance needs. Compensation: The starting salary will be dependent upon experience and qualifications. This is a electrical opportunity with Wilson County Government in Wilson, Wilson County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
