Under general supervision, the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic performs skilled, journey-level and air conditioning ( HVAC), plumbing, lock and access control to facilities, systems, construction and renovation; Certifications A valid California driver' s license. Special. This is a plumbing opportunity with California State University System in Fullerton, CA. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.
What you'll do
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
