Excavation Apprentice – Sewer & Water Line Construction Position Summary We are seeking an Excavation Apprentice to support our residential sewer, water service, and underground utility replacement operations at MasterTech Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in Columbia, MO . This position works directly alongside our Lead Excavation Operator, performing excavation, site preparation, equipment support, utility locating support, and restoration activities. This is a long-term career opportunity for some. This is a plumbing opportunity with MasterTech Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in Columbia, Boone County. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.
What you'll do
- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
