Engineering Technician - HVAC & Ductwork projects
About this role
The Engineering Technician supports project execution across HVAC and sheet‑metal ductwork fabrication and installation projects. This role focuses on project tracking, documentation, coordination with internal teams (estimating, drafting, fabrication, installation), and communication with customers and management. The technician will assist in closing project estimates, preparing project status reports, and ensuring project activities remain aligned with schedule and scope requirement. This is a HVAC opportunity with CIS International in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.
What you'll do
- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
