Electricians Helper with DP Jones Electrical
About this role
Residential and commercial electrical work. Includes, but is not limited to, helping an experienced electrician by pulling wire, demolition work, changing fixtures, changing pole lights, installing devices for new and existing structures. Duties include working in tight areas, working on ladders, working in the weather. Employee could cross train in the audio/video/home automation portion of the company as well. We are a drug free workplace therefore all new employees must pass a d. This is a electrical opportunity with Ladder in Columbus, Franklin County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
