About this role
Harris is seeking a Director of Virtual Construction to lead teams that transform mechanical design and construction through technology, collaboration, and consistent delivery standards. In this highly visible leadership role, you will develop people, improve BIM and VDC practices, and help project teams deliver coordinated, fabrication-ready solutions. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
