About this role
The Facilities Manager of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Campus is responsible for maintaining the parish/school buildings and grounds including the rectory and convent. The Facilities Manager performs and supervises tasks related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, environmental, safety, custodial and event coordination. This position requires a team player attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details and project coordinati. This is a electrical opportunity with Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Newport News, Newport News City. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
