About this role
This is a working lead position. Person is in charge of getting the material, equipment and labor needed to perform the task. Must be knowledgeable of general construction safety, and practices. Self motivated with little supervision. Will be meeting with clients. Proficient in keeping up with the time of the crew and daily reports. Need to know some about all types of trades. Job consist of all types of industrial projects. Pallet rack repair, concrete repair, w. This is a construction opportunity with GCI of Spartanburg LLC in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
