About this role
Position Summary: The Construction Materials Field Technician (CMT) will be responsible for conducting on-site testing of concrete, soil, and other construction materials utilizing a company-provided vehicle to travel to various job sites within the area. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of materials, including soils, aggregates, and concrete on construction materials testing project sites Execute tasks based on project requ. This is a construction opportunity with Professional Engineering Consultants in Andover, Butler County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
