About this role
Construction workers are responsible for helping construction foremen, electricians, and carpenters with a variety of basic tasks ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all duties assigned by the construction manager or foreman Learn carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and other specialized skills as required by the construction manager or foreman Erect and break down scaffolding, ramps, etc with attention to safety Prepare and apply construction materials to build structures. This is a electrical opportunity with WP Ventures in Bridgeport, Fairfield County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
