Construction Inspector - Water Resources
About this role
BKF is hiring a Construction Inspector to execute onsite construction inspections to ensure the project is being constructed in compliance with the contract requirements and applicable permits. Responsibilities: General Inspect a variety of construction including but not limited to repair of pipelines, water mains, sewers, lift stations, and treatment plants. Advises Resident Engineer or Agency Project Manager and informs contractors of any variances from approved plans and specifications Takes. This is a construction opportunity with BKF in San Rafael, Marin County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
