The Concrete Paving Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all phases of concrete paving operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, efficient scheduling, and cost-effective execution. This role requires deep knowledge of concrete paving processes, equipment, and materials—including slipform paving operations—and proven leadership experience on roadway, highway, or airfield paving projects. Essential Functions / Key Respon. This is a construction opportunity with Clarkson Construction Company in Kansas City, Jackson County. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
