Concrete Formwork Carpenter - Per Diem
About this role
About this role We are hiring experienced concrete carpenters for per diem assignments based out of San Antonio, TX. You will build, assemble and strip concrete forms on commercial and government projects. This role requires strong formwork skills, accurate layout and the ability to work efficiently as part of a crew. Projects may require travel across Texas (including Dallas-area jobs). Candidates should be comfortable with travel assignments, able to follow con. This is a carpentry opportunity with Skillit in San Antonio, Bexar County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.
What you'll do
- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
