Concrete Finishers / Carpenters (Road / Street Construction) Our company currently needs experienced concrete finishers for upcoming road work projects. Must have 5 Years industry experience and transportation to worksites. Will work forming and finishing walls, sidewalks, and curbs as part of a fast paced crew. Must have own tools. Must be able to complete pre-employment background and drug screen. Excellent pay. ($20 Hourly - Prevailing Wage and Fringe) available on most work. Employee Benefi. This is a carpentry opportunity with Barber Brothers Contracting Co., LLC in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.
What you'll do
- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
