About this role

Commercial Mechanic / Welder We are seeking a dependable and experienced Equipment Mechanic/ Welder to join our operation. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, diesel engine experience, gasoline engine experience, proficient welding abilities, and hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment used in agricultural and construction operations. This position requires someone who can diagnose problems, perform repairs efficiently, and help keep vehicle. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Cornerstone Tree Farm in Saint Leo, Pasco County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

What you'll do

  • Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Cut and grind metal to spec
  • Inspect welds for strength and quality
  • Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
