About this role
Xcel Electric Inc is looking for a Commercial Journeyman Electrician. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must be able to read plans, run EMT conduit, pull wire, tie out panels and trouble shoot. Experience: Commercial Electrical Experience 4 years minimum Must have clean DMV record Wage depends on Experience. This is a electrical opportunity with Xcel Electric, Inc. in Bakersfield, Kern County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
