Chief Maintenance Technician
About this role
Mission Linen Supply is currently looking for an experienced Chief Maintenance Technician. This hands-on, in-plant role repairs, maintains, installs, and troubleshoots industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers, and performs preventive maintenance including welding, boiler chemical testing and chemistry adjustments, resolving safety concerns, and preparing maintenance records. This role requires strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment,. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Mission Linen in Oxnard, Ventura County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
