MIG Welder Shift: 1st Shift Location: Muskegon Heights, MI We are seeking a skilled and certified MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Muskegon County, MI. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and is looking for a long-term home. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials and components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols Set up and op. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Infinity Staffing Professionals in Muskegon Heights, Muskegon County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
