General Summary Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter’s handt. This is a carpentry opportunity with Granite Construction in Humble, Harris County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.
What you'll do
- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
