Building Maintenance Technician - Facilities Management
About this role
Position Information This position is classified as an essential employee and located in the Facilities Management Department. You may be required to work non-standard work hours for on-call or during inclement weather or other emergency activities. The schedule will be between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Essential Functions Performs general maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment, grounds, and related facilities: and performs semi-skilled manual wor. This is a landscaping and grounds opportunity with Cobb County Government in Kennesaw, Cobb County. Landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance. Crews mow, trim, plant, and maintain outdoor spaces, keeping properties healthy and attractive year-round.
What you'll do
- Mow, edge, trim, and blow properties
- Plant, mulch, and maintain beds
- Operate mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Install and maintain irrigation
- Remove debris and keep sites tidy
