Building Maintenance Technician
About this role
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance or designate, the Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for all scheduled preventative maintenance and minor repairs of building systems and equipment such as power-operated equipment, hydraulic systems, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems. Essential functions include: Performs routine cleaning, painting, maintenance, and repairs of facility. Performs minor lawn care and snow removal. Performs Basic plumbing. This is a electrical opportunity with Pace in Arlington Heights, Cook County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.

- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
