BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN HVAC MULTIPLE DEPARTMENTS FLSA: Non-exempt Hours: The regular work hours are from 8:00am to 5:00 pm, five days a week (Monday through Friday). Night and weekend work may be required in the event of maintenance needs. Compensation: The starting salary for a fully qualified HVAC tech begins at $57,240 a COMPETITIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE. Benefits Annual and Sick Leave Medical, Dental, Vision 12 Paid Holidays 401k Retirement Health Savings Account. This is a HVAC opportunity with Wilson County Government in Wilson, Wilson County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.

- Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
- Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
- Communicate repairs clearly to customers
