Title: Maintenance Worker I Organization: EPW: Sidewalk Construction Project Department: Sidewalk Construction Project Location: EPW Rate of Pay: $14.5000 The Maintenance Worker I is responsible for performing maintenance of streets and roadways, right of way, grounds, pump and valve stations, by repairing cleaning, painting and repairing cave-ins drains and other related maintenance tasks. Performs routine landscaping maintenance such as trimming trees, hedges, bushes, and mowing l. This is a carpentry opportunity with City of Brownsville in Brownsville, Cameron County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.

- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
