About this role
\n \nWelder Training Program\n \n \n1. Set up and operate weld equipment to MIG, TIG, or spot weld parts to blueprint specifications.\n \n2. Load and unload parts onto weld table and fixtures using hand tools, ratchets, or air tools to secure parts to fixtures.\n \n3. Check parts to quality specifications.\n \n4. Troubleshoot problems and recommend or take corrective action.\n \n5. Use hoist, pallet jacks or forklift to move parts, materials, containers and fixtu. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with BAE Systems in Aiken, Aiken County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
