Job Family Group: \n \nOperations Group\n \n \n \n \nBP is seeking a Welder (O&M W) to join its Construction Maintenance Team based in Manhattan, Illinois . This field-based role supports the maintenance, construction, repair, and integrity of BP's pipeline infrastructure across the Pipelines & Logistics business. The position is primarily focused on welding, pipeline construction, and repair activities , while also contributing to a variety of maintenance funct. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with BP in Manhattan, Will County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

What you'll do

  • Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Cut and grind metal to spec
  • Inspect welds for strength and quality
  • Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
