Company Description \n \n \n \n Who will you be working with? \n \n \nYou will work with a broad range of talented individuals to deliver quality products in a timely manner at our Thermal Transfer Group business unit. You'll work alongside other Welders and Operators and partner with professionals across multiple departments.\n \n How will you make a difference? \n \n \nAs a Welder, you will follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with WABTEC in Duquesne, Jasper County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.

What you'll do

  • Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings
  • Cut and grind metal to spec
  • Inspect welds for strength and quality
  • Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
