About this role
Aftermarket semi-truck accessories. We are currently hiring a Welder in our Lafayette, IN facility. Job tasks include TIG welding Reasons You Will Love Being a Part of the RealTruck Family Day Shift Only; Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm. Opportunities available. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Lund Inc in Lafayette, IN. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
