Commercial Welder Pay: $25-$27 HR/DOE | Location: Elmore, AL | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits Responsibilities: Commercial construction combo welding Welding, mechanical work, grinding, sanding and some assembly Various tasks assigned by site supervisor Must be willing to assist various trades Requirements: Minimum 1 year Commercial Construction experience Minimum 1 year MIG Welding experience Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor Perform all tasks in a timely manner und. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Signature Labor in Montgomery, Montgomery County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
