About this role
PrideStaff is looking for Welder 1 for a well-known manufacturing company in Escalon, CA! The Welder 1 is responsible for tasks traditionally associated with the welding trade at a basic level in order to support the organization’s production requirements. Responsible for participating, supporting, and maintaining compliance to the Company’s quality, environmental and occupational health & safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities as defined by the Company. Position responsibilities. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with PrideStaff in Escalon, San Joaquin County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
