Pay: $22.70 - $32.79 per hour Are you an experienced TIG welder looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator specializing in TIG welding to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Groton, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for welding metal components with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products, ensuring adherence to. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Doncasters Structural Castings of Groton in Groton, New London County. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
