About this role

Position Summary The Sheet Metal Mechanic is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and preparing sheet metal components used in commercial HVAC systems. This position works primarily in a fabrication shop environment operating various sheet metal equipment and tools to produce ductwork and related products according to specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, and sheet metal components from shop drawings and spe. This is a HVAC opportunity with PremiStar in Tice, Lee County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.

  • Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
  • Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
  • Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
  • Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
  • Communicate repairs clearly to customers
