Senior Structural Engineer Transportation
About this role
Client coordination including coordinating deliveries, submittals, meeting, review comments Proficient in steel, masonry, timber and concrete (incl. precast and prestressed) design eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick. This is a construction opportunity with Stantec in Santa Maria, CA. General construction and site work — building, remodeling, and preparing structures. Crews handle everything from foundations and framing to demolition and finish work, often outdoors and on active job sites.
What you'll do
- Prepare and clean job sites, load and unload materials
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete, and structural work
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Measure, cut, and position building materials to spec
