About this role

The Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician installs, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains commercial and industrial chiller systems, including air-cooled and water-cooled units. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with large tonnage systems, controls, and preventative maintenance routines. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Perform diagnostics, service, and repairs on commercial chillers (centrifugal, screw, scroll, and rec. This is a HVAC opportunity with Aqua Plumbing & Air Services, Inc. in Sarasota, Manatee County. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning install and service. Technicians install units, charge refrigerant, and diagnose airflow and electrical faults in residential and commercial systems.

What you'll do

  • Install and service HVAC units and ductwork
  • Diagnose refrigerant, airflow, and electrical issues
  • Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
  • Follow EPA refrigerant-handling rules
  • Communicate repairs clearly to customers
