General HandymanPosition Summary:Paradise Christian School & Development Center has proudly served our community for over 44 years and is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Handyman to join our Paradise family. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe, clean, attractive, and well-maintained environment for children, families, staff, and visitors.Essential Job Duties:Perform general building and property maintenance.Complete minor repairs including painting, carpentry, bas. This is a carpentry opportunity with Paradise Christian School in Hialeah Gardens, Miami-Dade County. Carpentry and cabinetry — framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish work. Carpenters measure, cut, and assemble wood and composite materials for both rough and fine finishing.
What you'll do
- Frame walls, install trim, doors, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
- Read and work from construction drawings
- Use saws, drills, and finishing tools
- Ensure level, square, and plumb results
