Sawmill Maintenance Technician
About this role
West Frasers Angelina TX sawmill is looking for an industrial millwright! Our Millwright position is a key player in a company-wide continuous improvement effort through daily use of troubleshooting, and predictive and preventative maintenance strategies. As a member of this high-performing team, you will be responsible for working safely with all machinery within the mill. What you will do: Repair and maintain industrial equipment to include conveying systems, major machine centers such as deb. This is a events and setup opportunity with West Fraser in Lufkin, Angelina County. Event setup, teardown, and staging. Crews assemble stages, seating, and equipment, then break down and reset venues quickly between events.
What you'll do
- Set up and tear down staging and seating
- Move and stage equipment and furniture
- Follow event layouts and timelines
- Assist with load-in and load-out
- Keep the venue clean and safe
