Repair/Maintenance Laborer
About this role
Perform general repairs and maintenance on company facilities, equipment, and property Complete preventative maintenance on machinery, tools, and equipment Assist with mechanical repairs on heavy equipment, trailers, railcars, and other company assets Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, drills, impact tools, and other maintenance equipment Perform basic welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication as needed Assist with painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and gene. This is a electrical opportunity with CalmHR Inc in Willis, Washtenaw County. Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Work ranges from running conduit and pulling wire to troubleshooting circuits and reading electrical plans.
What you'll do
- Install wiring, conduit, outlets, and fixtures to code
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Test circuits and ensure NEC compliance
- Assist licensed electricians as needed
