Production Associate II - Material Handler 3rd shift
About this role
Across the new construction and Repair & Remodel veneer, metal roofing, metal wall of departments. Forklift experience is power tools, saws, welders, or routers ~ ~ Maintain a clean and safe work area ~ General labor either working day or night shifts. This is a welding and fabrication opportunity with Cornerstone Building Brands in Lexington, NC. Welding and metal fabrication — joining, cutting, and shaping steel and other metals. Welders read fabrication drawings and produce strong, precise joints in shop or field settings.
What you'll do
- Weld using MIG, TIG, or stick as required
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Cut and grind metal to spec
- Inspect welds for strength and quality
- Follow shop safety and PPE requirements
