1. Works outdoors in all weather conditions. 2. Reads and understands blueprints, drawings, and sketches. 3. Selects proper size and type of building materials according to the project specifications and dimensions. 4. Plans the installation to avoid obstructions and to avoid interfering with activities of the other workers. 5. Prepares the layout using rule, framing square, plumb bob, and chalk line. 6. Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials, using pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. 7. S. This is a plumbing opportunity with Bechtel in Port Arthur, Jefferson County. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.

- Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
- Cut, thread, and solder pipe
- Read plans and follow plumbing code
- Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
