POSITION TITLE (Oracle title) MASTER CRAFTSMAN WORKING TITLE Master Craftsman–Plumbing SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT Maintenance and Operations (M&O) LOCATION Rock Quarry Road (Building B), Raleigh, NC PAY GRADE Noncertified Grade 26 FLSA STATUS Nonexempt ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT No WORK WEEK SCHEDULE Monday-Friday (Evening and weekend requirements on a rotational basis) Position is not available for a Hybrid Telework workweek POSITION PURPOSE: Performs master craftsman and lead work a. This is a plumbing opportunity with Wake County Public School System in Wilders Grove, Wake County. Plumbing installation and repair for water, drain, and gas systems. Involves running pipe, setting fixtures, and diagnosing leaks or blockages in homes and commercial buildings.

  • Install and repair pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
  • Diagnose leaks, clogs, and pressure issues
  • Cut, thread, and solder pipe
  • Read plans and follow plumbing code
  • Assist licensed plumbers on service calls
